Alan Shepard is flying a C-130 from Grand Turk Island back to Cape Canaveral on February 23, 1962. The plane is carrying John Glenn, who had just completed a 48-hour medical debriefing following the MA-6 three-orbit flight. Thanks to Ed Hengeveld. |
