Walking down the ramp at the Gemini launch gantry on Pad 19 are astronauts Alan B. Shepard Jr. (left) and John W. Young. Shepard is Chief of the Astronaut Office and Young is pilot for Gemini-3. They inspected the Gemini-3 spacecraft, which was being prepared for launch.
