Gemini 4 crew ready for launch

At about 7:05 a.m. EST astronauts Jim McDivitt and Ed White, followed by suit technicians Joe Schmitt and Clyde Teague, walk up the ramp to the elevator that will take them to their Gemini-4 spacecraft on Launch Complex 19. Ed White gives the "thumbs up", indicating that they he is ready for the first American space walk.
