Apollo 16 astronauts relax in life raft while awaiting helicopter

Returning with hundreds of photographs and more than 91 kilograms (200 pounds) of lunar rock samples from the Moon's Descartes area, the Astronauts splashed down at 2:45pm EST, 2778 kilometers (1500 nautical miles) south of Hawaii.
