Apollo 16 astronauts, from left to right, Charles M. Duke, Jr., John W. Young and Thomas K. Mattingly II relax in life raft while awaiting helicopter pickup today to the USS Ticonderoga, located about 1 1/2 kilometers (1 nautical mile) away.
