The Gemini-3 spacecraft atop its Titan II launch vehicle is ready for lift-off at Pad 19 at Cape Kennedy. The spacecraft carried astronauts Vrigil I. Grissom, command pilot, and John W. Young, pilot, on a three-orbit mission.
