Grissom and Young inside their Gemini spacecraft before launch

Astronauts Virgil I. Grissom, command pilot, (foreground) and John W. Young, pilot (background), are shown inside their Gemini 3 spacecraft during insertion operations at Cape Kennedy. Insertion into the spacecraft takes place in the white room atop the Launch vehicle at Pad 19. This photograph was taken through the window of the hatch on the command pilot's side of the spacecraft.
